The challenge
Inspectors work in gloves, in the rain, with no signal. Their old tool was a 40-field form that nobody finished on site.
What we did
We spent a week on building sites before drawing anything. The result is a voice-first app: hold a giant button, describe the defect, and Fieldnote drafts the report item offline, ready to sync later.

The icon, the palette and the type were designed together with the interface, so the app looks like itself everywhere: home screen, store, notification.
